MDS/Medicare Coordinator
The MDS/Medicare Coordinator is responsible for the Minimum Data Set (MDS) Comprehensive Resident Assessment Instrument of the facility residents as well as maintaining all required documentation for additional payor sources, including Medicare. This position will utilize the nursing process in performance of the job and will keep abreast of current trends in nursing care and service. The nurse will practice in accordance with the state nursing practice act, nursing ethics and state rules and regulations.
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
(Golden Valley) Enters and verifies patient demographic and medical history into an electronic health record (EHR). Performs other clerical tasks related to patient records and the EHR. Provides direct patient care within scope of practice. 8:30am – 5:00pm.
FLOAT PHYSICIAN’S SECRETARY
(Golden Valley) Answers phone calls, assists patients in setting up appointments, coordinates provider orders, processes charges and insurance, performs other misc. clerical duties. 8:30am – 5:00pm.
PATIENT COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE
(Golden Valley) Collect receivables and resolve delinquent insurance balances, billing disputes, errors & complaints. Respond to patients, insurance carriers, and attorney inquiries. 3 years exp. in medical setting with emphasis on insurance processing and collections. M-F, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Job Requirements
• Current Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state of employment. • Possesses knowledge and understanding of rehabilitative nursing concepts. • Clinically competent to utilize the nursing process to perform physical and cognitive assessments of residents. • Caring person with a desire to work with the frail and elderly. • Displays optimal intra and interdepartmental relationships. • Ability to establish and maintain optimum rapport with residents, family members and regulatory agencies. • Capable to meet physical demands of the job including visual and auditory acuity. • Previous experience in long-term care and a minimum of one year MDS/Medicare experience as well as current education and knowledge of new 3.0 system.
